User Data Deletion Policy

Overview

GrowthPlan respects your right to control your personal data. This policy explains how you can request deletion of your data and what happens when you do so.

What Data Can Be Deleted

Account Information

Your name, email address, profile information, and account settings.

Integration Data

All data collected from connected third-party services, including social media posts, insights, financial records, and analytics data.

Usage Data

Information about how you used our services, including interaction history and preferences.

Support Communications

Emails, chat logs, and other communications with our support team.

How to Request Data Deletion

Method 1: Self-Service (Recommended)

  1. Log in to your GrowthPlan account
  2. Navigate to Settings → Account
  3. Click "Delete Account"
  4. Follow the confirmation prompts
  5. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted

Method 2: Contact Support

  1. Email us at privacy@growthplan.com
  2. Include your registered email address
  3. Specify "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line
  4. We'll verify your identity and process the request within 30 days

Deletion Process Timeline

  • Immediate: Account access is revoked
  • Within 24 hours: Active integrations are disconnected
  • Within 7 days: All user data is removed from our primary database
  • Within 30 days: All data is removed from backups and systems

What Happens After Deletion

Account Access

You will no longer be able to log in to your account or access any GrowthPlan services.

Third-Party Integrations

All connected integrations will be disconnected. You may need to revoke GrowthPlan's access from those services individually.

Data Recovery

Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. Please download any important information before requesting deletion.

Email Communications

You will be removed from our mailing lists and won't receive further communications from us.

Data We Cannot Delete

Some information may remain in our systems even after account deletion:

  • Anonymous Usage Data: Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics used for service improvement
  • Legal Records: Information we must retain to comply with legal obligations
  • Security Logs: Basic security logs that don't identify you personally

Before You Delete Your Account

  • Download any reports or data you want to keep
  • Update any services that use your GrowthPlan email for login
  • Revoke GrowthPlan access from third-party services if needed
  • Cancel any active subscriptions or billing arrangements
  • Save any important configurations or settings

Verification Process

To protect your privacy, we verify your identity before processing deletion requests. For self-service deletion, this is done through your login credentials. For email requests, we may ask for additional verification.

Third-Party Data

While we delete your data from our systems, some information may remain with third-party services you connected to GrowthPlan. You'll need to contact those services directly to request data deletion from their platforms.

Right to Withdraw

You can withdraw your deletion request within 24 hours by contacting privacy@growthplan.com. After this period, the deletion process cannot be stopped.

Confirmation

Once your data deletion is complete, we'll send you a confirmation email (if requested) detailing what was deleted and when the process was completed.
